Mixed Scotch whisky brand Dewar’s as of late divulged another emphasis of its 12 year old articulation. Brandishing another look and feel, it is said to have been “taken to a higher level with a whisky that adjusts intricacy, flavor and perfection.”
The patched up Dewar’s blended Scotch Whisky, as indicated by those behind it, features up to 40 of Scotland’s single malt and grain whiskies. It is multiplied matured close by chosen, first-fill American oak whiskey barrels, with the new articulation having been made by Dewar’s Lord Blender Stephanie Macleod.
“Interest has been at the foundation of the Dewar’s image since John Dewar made the main whisky in 1846,” expressed Macleod in a pre-arranged explanation. “What’s more, that feeling of interest has brought through to how my groups and I foster our whiskies today. It was simply normal to examination and specialty another component to the development cycle, which has brought about a particularly unique tasting experience.
“Having been exploring different avenues regarding the impact of barrel types on flavor and surface throughout the previous decade, we realized everything looked good to bring some of what we have figured out how to our center scope of whiskies. We needed to require Dewar’s 12-Year-Old to a higher level and bring the delights of value Scotch whisky to another age of consumers.
“Dewar’s whiskies have a trademark botanical and honeyed-style and we realized we could add a more extravagant and more perplexing aspect using first-fill American Oak Whiskey containers.”
The new Dewar’s is introduced in a new, premium clear glass bottle at 40% ABV with a changed base, mark and nook. It costs around $30 per 750 ml bottle. Official tasting notes make notice that it has “a fragrance of apple, ready peaches and traces of lemon zing; trailed by flower, flavor and rich organic product notes; with a strong completion of vanilla, butterscotch and a wisp of a smoke.”
